My name is Roshni Vyam, I am an artist. My art depicts life, nature, culture and the stories of mankind !
My paintings find their roots in the Pardhan Gond School of Art (founded by Lt. Shri Jangarh Singh Shyam). I hail from the Pardhan tribe of India (Madhya Pradesh) known for its age old tradition of Dhigna, which originated as geometric patterns painted on walls and floor for aesthetic purposes.
My training in Textile Design (B.Des National Institute of Fashion Design/NIFT) has led me to explore designs on textiles along with book illustrations and installations.
As an artist, I love to push boundaries and find new arenas to present my art. Feel free to drop a mail/DM to see what we can create together!

My work is a reflection of my mother’s legacy, Smt. Durga Bai Vyam, Padmashree 2022. Her paintings and my father’s work in sculpture both based on mythological stories and tales of the Pardhan tribe.
